Carmel Beach Engagement Photos | Taylor & Matt

Beach engagement photos are always a favorite of mine. I love listening to the waves crash on the sand, walking on the beach with sand in my toes, and watching as the sun sets on the horizon. Though I can’t remember the last time I went to the beach for leisure, it seems like I only ever go to the beach for my sessions. Taylor loves the beach and therefore chose Carmel Beach for their engagement session and I was all in! We had such a beautiful day and it was a great session.

Taylor and Matt met in high school. What started out as a crush turned into best friends talking hours on end then led to officially getting together senior year. Taylor went to college in Southern California and they continued their relationship doing long distance. Now 6 years later they are tying the knot. In the meantime, they have been enjoying their engagement doing all their favorite things; being major foodies, enjoying the outdoors, and going on lots of walks. I cannot wait for Taylor and Matt’s wedding day, only 4 months to go!

At the end of all my beach engagement sessions, I tell my couples to dip their feet in the water and play around. It always makes for the cutest photos. At one point the water completely got them and they almost fell in! They laughed so hard and it was a fun moment for Taylor and Matt.
