Davenport Beach Ca Engagement Session

One of my favorite places to photograph is by the beach, there is always beautiful scenery which is great for photos. As well, it is always fun to walk barefoot in the sand and dip your toes in the water. Jennifer & Justin introduced me to the seaside cliffs near Davenport Beach Ca. They like to come to this spot often and walk around. It was a gorgeous spot with a lot of tall cedar trees. A short walk away there was a beach with awesome rock formations and caves built in to the cliff.

Jennifer and Justin have had a connection for a long time as their moms have been friends since before they were born. You would think this is a sign they were destined to be together right?! Well that’s not how they ended up together. Jennifer & Justin started dating two and a half years ago after Jennifer reached out and friend requested Justin. Justin immediately asked her on a date. They dated for a year and Justin knew she was the one and was ready to propose.

The two of them with their kids went to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco for the day. They came to a beautiful waterfall and Justin got down on one knee and asked Jennifer to marry him. As they wait for their big day, Jennifer and Justin have been enjoying taking their kids on new adventures and exploring new places to eat.

The Engagement Session

For their engagement session we started out on the cliffs. I am not going to lie, I was a little nervous being that close to the edge. There was a couple times as I was backing up that I didn’t realize how close I was! I was definitely terrified, however, the location was beautiful!

We then headed down to the beach where there was a little river of water in between the cliff and the sand. It was pretty cool! In addition, there were so many caves in the cliff, something I have never seen before. It was a lot of fun capturing Justin & Jennifer’s engagement photos. They have great chemistry and knew how to make each other laugh. I look forward to their wedding day come October!
