Some wedding days stay with you, not just because of how beautiful they were, but because of how they felt. Katrina and Logan’s Brindare Napa Valley Wedding was one of those days. Joyful, emotional, intentional, and filled with moments that unfolded naturally from morning to night.
Just one day before their wedding, a large fire broke out not far from the venue. As I drove closer on the morning of the wedding, smoke lingered in the distance and I couldn’t help but feel a little nervous about what the day might bring. But then I arrived and everything changed. Clear blue skies. Calm air. The most stunning Napa backdrop. It felt like a collective exhale and the perfect reminder that sometimes, after uncertainty, everything aligns exactly as it should.

Katrina got ready onsite and the bridal suite was the perfect place for the morning to unfold. Soft natural light filled the space as her bridesmaids gathered around her, champagne flowing, dresses hanging nearby, music playing softly in the background.
The love for Katrina was absolutely infectious. There was laughter, quiet moments, happy tears, and so much genuine excitement. Katrina herself looked stunning, effortlessly elegant, glowing, and fully present in every moment.
One of my favorite details from the morning was the bridesmaids’ dresses. Katrina gave her girls a color and told them to choose whatever dress felt most them. The result was beautiful. Different silhouettes, textures, and shades coming together so naturally. Personal, relaxed, and completely true to the day.

Before the ceremony, Katrina and Logan shared a first look and it was pure joy. Big smiles, laughter, and a quiet tear from Logan as he saw Katrina for the first time. They were completely wrapped up in one another, present and soaking in the moment together.
But beyond the emotion, choosing to do a first look gave them something even more meaningful: time.
Because Katrina and Logan opted for a first look, we were able to capture all of their wedding party photos and family formals before the ceremony. This allowed everything to feel calm, unhurried, and intentional — no rushing, no pulling people away mid-celebration.
And the biggest win? Once the ceremony ended, Katrina and Logan were able to head straight into cocktail hour and fully enjoy time with their guests. Hugging friends, clinking glasses, laughing, and being present instead of disappearing for photos.
As Katrina walked down the aisle later that afternoon, Logan was tearful all over again. Overwhelmed, emotional, and completely in the moment. It was the sweetest reminder that a first look doesn’t take away from the aisle moment at all. If anything, it allows couples to experience more of their day together and with the people they love most.

Guests arrived to a gorgeous garden setting, parasols in hand, drinks waiting, and vineyard views stretching endlessly behind the aisle. A beautiful live trio set the tone, adding an elegant and romantic soundtrack that flowed seamlessly from the ceremony into cocktail hour.
Katrina and Logan shared heartfelt vows surrounded by their closest people, framed by lush greenery and Napa’s golden light. There were tears, smiles, and so much love. The kind of ceremony that feels deeply personal and meaningful.
After the ceremony, guests moved into cocktail hour, greeted with cocktails and appetizers as laughter filled the garden and the celebration continued.

You could feel it the moment you stepped into the reception. This wasn’t just a pretty setup, this was a vibe.
Long tables stretched across the garden like an intimate outdoor dinner party, layered with soft linens, flickering candles, and delicate bud florals that felt romantic and effortless. String lights crisscrossed overhead, glowing brighter as the sun dipped lower, while lush greenery wrapped the space and made everything feel warm and inviting.
And then there was the seating chart.
Not just any seating chart, a showstopper. Katrina’s brother built the structure by hand, and a close friend hand-painted illustrations of Katrina and Logan’s favorite places. Guests gathered around immediately, pointing things out, smiling, and in awe of the beautiful drawings. It wasn’t just functional, it was personal, meaningful, and completely unforgettable.
The black-and-white checkered dance floor anchored the entire space and quietly stole the show. Elegant but playful. Classic with a twist. One look at it and you just knew the party was going to be good.

Dinner began while the sun was still up, bathing the garden in warm Napa light as guests settled in, wine glasses clinked, and conversation flowed easily down the tables. It felt relaxed, joyful, and full of connection. The kind of dinner where no one is in a rush.
As the light softened and the string lights flickered on, the energy shifted.
When Katrina and Logan made their grand entrance, every single guest was on their feet. Cheers erupted, glasses were raised, and the excitement was immediate. This wasn’t a quiet crowd, this was a celebrate hard kind of night.
Their first dance took things to the next level. Katrina and Logan surprised everyone with a choreographed routine they had learned together — and absolutely crushed it. Confident, playful, and perfectly in sync, they had the entire crowd cheering from start to finish.
They followed it with a beautiful father-daughter dance and mother-son dance, both filled with emotion. But the moment that truly stole the show was a surprise anniversary dance for Logan’s grandparents. Tears flowed freely as they took the floor. A once-in-a-lifetime moment filled with love, applause, and so much heart. There truly wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

As the sun started to dip, we did what every great wedding day needs — we snuck away.
Just Katrina and Logan. Just enough time to breathe. And the most unreal golden light spilling through the vineyards. These moments felt easy and romantic — laughing, holding hands, soaking it all in while the party buzzed behind them. Napa golden hour showed off, and it was pure perfection.

And then? Straight back to the fun.
Toasts brought even more laughter and happy tears, and once dinner wrapped up, the party officially kicked into high gear.
The dance floor stayed packed. Arms in the air, big smiles, guests fully committing to the moment, and Katrina and Logan right in the middle of it all. The energy was nonstop, the vibes were high, and the celebration never missed a beat.
Later in the night, we slipped outside again to find their getaway car waiting under the stars. These photos were such a vibe. Old-school, cinematic, and just plain cool. Katrina hopping into the car, Logan leaning in beside her, it felt like the ending of a movie you don’t want to stop watching.
Then came the sparklers.
Guests gathered, sparklers lit, cheers everywhere, and Katrina and Logan walking through it all hand in hand. Smiling, laughing, completely in the moment. Joyful, celebratory, and the perfect send-off.
But before calling it a night, we made one final stop, the Avila. Just the two of them, a quiet pause on the front steps, one last deep breath before the night officially wrapped. Calm, romantic, and the perfect contrast to the energy of the evening.
A full day. A full dance floor. A whole lot of love.
