If you’re planning a wedding at The Pearl SF, you already know—it’s one of the most unique and versatile venues in the city. As a San Francisco wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to spaces that feel elevated but still allow couples to truly make it their own.
The Pearl SF is exactly that. With its industrial design, multi-level layout, and iconic indoor tree installation, it creates a setting that feels both modern and meaningful. This San Francisco wedding was filled with so much intention. From emotional moments to a packed dance floor. It all came together in a space that truly transformed to reflect them.

Jacey and Mitch kicked off their wedding day at the stunning 1 Hotel San Francisco. Located right across from the Ferry Building, it’s one of the best spots in the city for those iconic bay views.
The morning felt like the perfect mix of calm and excitement. Jacey got ready surrounded by her closest friends, slipping into her Anthropologie long-sleeve lace gown (which was everything), while Mitch was fully channeling that effortless, James Bond energy.

Before the day officially began, the two met on the rooftop for a private first look. They exchanged personal vows, soaked in the moment together, and kicked off the celebration with a champagne pop overlooking the city. It was intimate, intentional, and such a grounding way to start the day.
Next, we headed to Pier 14, and these portraits were next level. The mix of architecture, waterfront views, and that signature San Francisco energy created the perfect setting for this dynamic duo. At one point, a little girl stopped us to ask if she was a real-life princess (honestly… she wasn’t wrong). It was one of those unexpected, sweet moments that just added to the magic of the day.
These portraits ended up being some of our favorites—effortless, stylish, and full of that city-meets-romance vibe that makes a San Francisco wedding feel so iconic.
From there, we made our way to a nearby park to meet up with their family and friends for group photos. Jacey and Mitch made the intentional choice to skip a traditional bridal party and instead spend the morning with their closest people, keeping the day relaxed, meaningful, and centered on what mattered most.

The ceremony at The Pearl SF rooftop was an absolute dream. Lush florals framed the altar, the soft San Francisco light set the tone, and Jacey and Mitch stood surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, promising forever. There was this quiet, emotional energy. One of those ceremonies where you could feel how much love was in the space.
It was heartfelt, beautiful, and one of those moments that reminds you what it’s all about.

Cocktail hour flowed effortlessly across The Pearl SF’s rooftop and second level, creating that perfect mix of elevated and relaxed. Guests mingled with cocktails in hand, soaking in the beautiful San Francisco weather and those sweeping city views. Between the open bar, passed appetizers, and a sushi-inspired poke bar, guests had no shortage of incredible food and drinks to enjoy.
It felt vibrant, social, and easy. The kind of atmosphere where everyone could fully settle in, connect, and just be part of the celebration.

Walking into the reception at The Pearl SF felt like stepping into a Pinterest board brought to life—in the best way. Before guests even entered the main reception space, they were welcomed with a stunning entry moment. This is one of the things that makes a The Pearl SF wedding so unique. The ability to create an immersive experience from the very first step inside.
A beautifully designed entry filled with lush florals, glowing candle walls, and custom signage set the tone. It felt warm, inviting, and elevated. An unforgettable first impression for this San Francisco wedding.
Then, as guests moved beyond the draped curtains, the full reception space was revealed.
The design was clean, modern, and incredibly intentional. Black cross-back chairs paired with crisp white linens created that timeless black-and-white foundation. While the floral arrangements added softness and movement throughout the room. Perfectly complementing the industrial yet refined feel of this San Francisco wedding venue.
Every detail felt elevated. From the jaw-dropping seating chart to the candlelit ambiance that carried throughout the space. And one of my favorite touches—their custom monogram displayed above the bar. Such a simple detail, but it tied everything together beautifully.
It was immersive, intentional, and so effortlessly them. A perfect reflection of Jacey and Mitch and everything they envisioned for their The Pearl SF wedding.

Just when it felt like the night couldn’t get any better… it did. Jacey and Mitch shared their first dance to “Another” by Adam Doleac—and then, in the middle of it, he walked in and started performing live.
Cue the jaw drops.
What started as an already emotional moment quickly turned into something completely unforgettable. One of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that made this The Pearl SF wedding feel even more personal and elevated.
After their dance, he stayed to play a few more songs, and before long the dance floor was packed. Guests singing along, celebrating, and fully immersed in the moment. The energy in the room was unreal, the kind of celebration that defines an unforgettable San Francisco wedding. It was one of those moments you can’t plan for, but somehow, it fit Jacey and Mitch perfectly.

The toasts? Equal parts heartfelt and laugh-out-loud funny. The kind that had everyone tearing up one minute and cracking up the next.
The Mirmir Photo Booth (yes, the Kardashian-level one) was a total hit, with guests lining up all night to capture the fun. And once the dance floor opened, it stayed full. Guests showing off their best moves, singing along, and fully leaning into the celebration.
The energy was contagious, one of those nights where no one wanted it to end. Every moment felt like the peak of an unforgettable San Francisco wedding.
Jacey and Mitch’s wedding at The Pearl SF wasn’t just a wedding—it was an experience. From start to finish, every detail was a reflection of their love story. It was glamorous, heartfelt, and so much fun. Cheers to the happy couple for pulling off the wedding of the year and letting us all be part of the magic!
