My last wedding of 2021 and it was an amazing day! Teresa and Steen had their wedding in Carmel at Carmel Fields wedding venue. This has become one of my favorite venues to shoot at. Carmel Fields has an incredible team that helps make your day perfect. Teresa and Steen also had a lot of help from loved ones to create the wedding of their dreams.
The forecast was cloudy with chances of rain but that didn’t stop them from planning every detail perfectly. The original plan was to have their ceremony outdoors, but to play it safe they moved it indoors. It was not what they had envisioned, but it turned out better than they could have imagined. One of their dear and close friends put together all the flower arrangements. She did an incredible job, and I’m amazed she isn’t a florist!
Teresa and Steen are expecting a beautiful baby girl and during Teresa’s vows, she decided to kick a little, throwing Teresa off guard and making her laugh. It was a sweet moment. After their ceremony we headed outside for portraits. We were lucky enough to get a break from the rain and go outside for family portraits and bride and groom portraits.
They had the coolest and awe dropping first dance. I was completely thrown off and had no idea it was going to happen, but it was awesome! They danced in a fog cloud and had sparkler canons. Everyone was amazed and excited, made for a magical first dance. Some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.
I am so happy for Teresa and Steen and their new adventure and soon to be family of three!
