Dreaming of a Garre winery wedding filled with sunshine, vineyard views, and a celebration that keeps the dance floor packed all night? Samantha and Manuel’s wedding day in the heart of Livermore wine country was exactly that—and more.
As a Livermore wedding photographer, this day was the perfect blend of meaningful tradition, effortless beauty, and the kind of energy you feel long after the night ends.

Before heading to their Garre winery wedding, Samantha and Manuel shared a private first look just outside St. Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton—a place that’s been part of Samantha’s life for years.
It gave them a chance to slow things down, connect, and take it all in before the ceremony started. It also meant we were able to get most of their wedding party photos done ahead of time, which is always a win. Instead of feeling rushed later, they were able to go straight into cocktail hour and actually spend time with their guests.
Their ceremony itself was deeply personal, surrounded by family, faith, and a space that already meant so much to them.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to Garré Vineyard and Winery, one of the most popular Livermore wedding venues—and for good reason. Open vineyard views, warm light, and a layout that makes the whole day flow easily from one part to the next.
Even in the middle of July, they lucked out with perfect weather, making it easy for everyone to be outside, mingling and enjoying the space.
The overall design felt clean and cohesive without being overdone:

This is where their day really stood out.
Cocktail hour at their Garré winery wedding wasn’t just a transition, it was part of the experience:
Instead of a traditional guest book, they had a film camera out. It quickly became one of those things everyone wanted to be part of. Photos, notes, and a lot of personality. The kind of keepsake that actually feels like your people.
Guests found their seats through a mirror seating chart and headed straight into the celebration.
They also incorporated custom Mexican treats for their guests, which was such a fun and meaningful touch. It added another layer to the experience and felt really true to them. Something their guests could enjoy while also being part of their story.

We stepped away into the vines just before sunset, and this is always one of my favorite parts of a Livermore winery wedding.
Not because it’s overly styled, but because it’s one of the only quiet moments of the day. No timeline pressure, no guests waiting. Just the two of them, taking a breath together. And that’s when the best photos happen.

Once the reception started, it stayed high-energy the entire night.
Samantha changed into a shorter party dress with a bow detail and fully leaned into the second half of the day and so did their guests. The dance floor stayed packed for three straight hours, which honestly says everything you need to know.
As a Livermore wedding photographer, you can always tell when a couple has created a day people want to be part of and this was one of those weddings.
They wrapped it all up with a light-up wand exit, sending them off surrounded by their people and a whole lot of energy.

Garré Vineyard and Winery continues to be a standout among Livermore wedding venues, offering a true wine country setting with a layout that supports a smooth, well-paced wedding day.
With its vineyard views, warm natural light, and thoughtful flow between spaces, it creates an environment that feels both elevated and inviting—for both the couple and their guests.
It’s the kind of place where you don’t have to overthink things. The setting already does a lot of the work, while still leaving space for the day to feel like you.

If you’re planning a Garre winery wedding and want photos that reflect how the day actually felt—not just how it looked—I’d love to connect.
I’ll help guide the flow of your day, keep things moving without making it feel rushed, and capture the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
