Gabby and Keoni had their Stockton engagement photos at the place where they met, University of the Pacific (UOP). Keoni grew up in Hawaii but came to California to attend Pharmacy school at UOP. There he met Gabby who was an undergraduate for Pharmacy school. They were both in the same Pharmacy fraternity, spent a lot of time together and got very close. They continued their relationship even with Gabby attending a different Pharmacy school.
Keoni proposed at Crissy Fields near Golden Gate Bridge. This was a special place to them, they had many dates there enjoying the view of the ocean and bridge. Keoni asked Gabby’s parents for their blessing, and also asked for their help to plan the perfect proposal. They coordinated their ‘annual family pictures’ at Crissy Field with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. During their photoshoot Keoni got on one knee and asked Gabby to marry him. Gabby was completely surprised and they got tp share this amazing moment with family.
For their engagement photos, they wanted a location that was special to them and I think they nailed it. What better place then where they met! The UOP campus is beautiful. We had a great time walking around the campus and getting to know each other. It also allowed them to reminisce on their time at UOP together.
Gabby and Keoni are so sweet! They were nervous as they have never been professionally photographed, but they were total naturals! Engagement sessions are so great for this reason, it allows my couples to learn how to be comfortable in front of the lens, and they can learn my poses and prompts so come wedding day they know exactly what to expect.
I loved capturing Gabby and Keoni’s Stockton engagement photos. They are so sweet and truly love one another. I am so excited to capture their wedding day in April. They are having a church wedding and then celebrating with their family and friends at Wines and Roses.
I asked Gabby and Keoni to run towards me, and I could tell they were questioning my prompt, but the pictures turned out so cute! They were some of my favorites from the day.
